Lifting on pads and at facilities

Setting down skids and modules, changing out pumps and valves, handling pipe bundles and cable drums, and craning containers in and out of laydown areas. Pads are tight, so we size the crane to the radius available as well as the weight.

Haulage that suits the route

Plant, containers, tanks and pipe move on flatbeds, semi-trailers and low-beds. We move anything over the permitted height, width or length under a special load permit, and check the route for bridge clearance and turning room before loading.

Crews whose competence can be checked

Client HSE teams audit the operator as well as the machine. Our crane operators, riggers, banksmen, lift supervisors and drivers come with their certificates, and we send them ahead for review so a crew is not turned away at the gate.

Inspection records that are already in place

Third-party examination certificates, register entries, load test records for slings and shackles, and daily pre-use checks. We keep them as routine and answer a project HSE manager's request the same day.

An orderly exit at the end of a phase

Demobilisation is planned work: what comes out, in what order, on what trailers, cleaned and certified, and where it goes. Done badly, it stops the handover of the site.

Ijanaposa is registered on the Petroleum Authority of Uganda's National Supplier Database.

Transport and crane hire are on Uganda's national content list of services reserved for qualifying Ugandan companies. Hiring us counts towards your national content plan.

A Ugandan company, with Ugandan crews

Ijanaposa is registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau and tax registered, and our crews are Ugandan. Our registration and tax numbers go to your procurement team on request.

On the safety side

We keep our lifting appliances registered and examined under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006, and hand the certificates to your HSE team on request. Ijanaposa is a member of the Safety and Health Association of Uganda.

Project evidence

Tilenga Project, Buliisa

A contractor demobilising from the Tilenga Project engaged us for the haulage and lifting. We supplied flatbed trailers, a mobile crane, and the operators and drivers to run them, and our crews lifted, loaded and moved containers and site equipment between camps and supply bases in Buliisa District. The contractor brought us back for a second phase of the work.

A reference letter from the contractor is available to procurement teams on request.
